Now we come down to the reason for this cross country trek. My very sweet husband promised his brother he would build him a sun room at his home in North Carolina. Sweet, right? That is what you do for family. We drove out with tools, saws, etc in our Prius, yes, 3500 miles in a Prius. Don't do it! We were there 3 weeks and he framed it, built a very scary roof and more. We weren't able to finish it as we need about 2 more weeks, so he is going to fly out in June and finish it for him.
The point is this, I am married to a wonderful man who felt it very important to build a room with a very dangerous roof line, drive cross country and just have time with his brother and family. Ladies, that is the kind of man you want in your life.
